I'm sorry about the lull, a bunch of thing happened that sort of killed my activity, some personal stuff. I'm better now, so things will start picking up.
The host really fucked us over big time over the past two weeks, the new host will be 1000% better, and you will notice this change almost immediately.
Bukkit released an RB, and I promise that we will NOT update minecraft until bukkit releases the RB for the update, so when the new update comes out, do not update minecraft until the server does.
Pig's been having some trouble with the map maker. The change he's trying to make with it requires a shitload of processing time, and he's been running into trouble. So in the mean time, we're going to roll out a temp map for people to play on, which I will set up today.
The server move will happen TODAY, map or not.
Some things to think about:
Just because it's a temporary map, doesn't mean you should treat it any differently. Really, all minecraft maps are temporary, and at any given moment, can fail and become corrupted. So keep the lesson of 'impermanence' in mind and have as much fun as possible.
I've got some stuff to take care of, and I need to work out a bit, once that's done, I'll set up the new server and shut down the old one.
